8.5m Monaco Pool Pacific Shimmer East Fremantle
With views of the Swan River and Perth’s skyline stretching off into the distance, the location of this East Fremantle residence is truly special.
Demolishing the original property to build a dream home in its place, the result is one to marvel; yet it is the outdoors that offers an undeniably unique element.
A stylish pool sits front and centre of the impressive home, surrounded by rebated stone and minimalistic landscaping.
Elevating it to the next level is the view enjoyed from the pool. Like that of a resort getaway that overlooks pristine beaches, the view from the pool takes in Perth’s postcard-worthy Swan River.
The home and pool were designed in tandem by the architect to complement one another and provide a seamless flow, according to Barrier Reef Pools Director Brad Hilbert.
“A new swimming pool was always part of the plan with the new build, and no stone was left unturned to make sure the clients got the look they wanted,” he said.
“The client wanted a minimalistic look that blended in with their new home. It looks fantastic with the river and city views in the distance.”
While aesthetically the pool is a beautiful finish, it is also equipped with quality finishes underneath its proverbial hood.
The 8.5m by 3.8m Monaco Pacific shimmer pool is low on maintenance for its owners. “The pool is fitted with three LED pool lights, a solar heating system, full automatic pool management system, in-ground blanket box and remote control pool lights,” Mr Hilbert said. “The mosaic tiled sun bed and LED bubblers are my favourite part of the pool area.”
The pool was installed in stages to coincide with the home’s build, with the front retaining wall installed after the pool was finished.
“We would have had no access to install the pool once the front wall was constructed,” Mr Hilbert said. “The pool was installed towards the end of the house build and took approximately three months to have the pool area finished and landscaped.”
